Blood Orange Bishaten

This subspecies shares the curved horns, beaked mouth, and winged arms of the regular Bishaten, but as the name suggests, its body is mottled with unique, fiery-red patches.

Magician of Fire and Wind: A single flap of this monster's wings whips up gusts of wind that fan searing flames. Moreover, the red horns can sense air currents to detect the location of prey and pinpoint the movement of sparks.

Pinecone Kindling: Regular Bishaten often store fruit in their belly pouch, but this subspecies keeps flammable cones that can be rubbed together and ignited or even used as kindling for its fire breath.
