Shrouded Nerscylla

A subspecies of Nerscylla that mostly inhabits desert areas and wraps itself in Khezu hides. Rather than spinning webs, it instead lurks beneath the sands to pounce on unsuspecting prey.

Unique Traversal: The juveniles fly by releasing silk into the air to catch the wind in a process called "ballooning." They travel far from the desert, and those who obtain Khezu hides return during spawning season.

Regional Differences?: Although it shares the same habit of donning the hides of its prey as the regular species, this subspecies displays a preference for Khezu hides. The skins worn evidently vary from region to region.
